🥪 Pinnacle Insulated Proof Lunch Box for Adults: Stylish and Reliable Review

They kept breaking for over 4 months, today I finally had to throw them both away. Every piece of plastic breaks and the bottom part really just expands. I've always hand washed them and been careful with them, but both kept breaking.

My 6 year old son asked for a thermos so he could bring hot/warm food to school for lunch. He loved the colors and was so excited when they arrived on time. He was able to open it himself at school and said his food was still hot/warm. He dropped one out of the machine and it scraped and scraped quite easily but didn't break and still worked perfectly.

I am only giving this item 2 stars because I love its small design which fits nicely in my son's lunch box and that was the only reason I bought it bought. When I bought them I didn't realize that they are high maintenance, for example you have to fill them with hot water to keep food warm for dinner. I did not put this item in the dishwasher as directed, but after washing by hand I must have accidentally poured too much water in it as it no longer closes completely. I'll try to be more careful

I like the shape of this container so we decided to give it a try. I did a test run and compared this container to the Pottery Barn thermos and the Thermos thermos. . Tried it in all 3 in one of 2 of my Keurig hot water tests. Hot water was lukewarm after 3 hours in this container. After 7 hours the other two containers were still hot. Very poor quality product. The plastic tabs that help snap/secure the lid onto the bowl break very easily no matter how careful you are with them. I bought 4 lunch boxes although I have 3 children (to have an extra one) and all but one still have intact tabs from only a month of use. I'm very careful with them, but they break very easily. Once a tab breaks, the container becomes unusable because heat escapes from the side that doesn't latch properly. I do not recommend purchasing this container

Yes, I know. The comparison chart on the product page has a small "x" to indicate they are not dishwasher safe. So it's my fault I didn't notice. I only wish I had done more research before purchasing and wish it was more prominently stated in the product description. If you pack your lunch in a good old uninsulated traditional Tupperware set you know what. By lunchtime your vittles will be as natural as if you put them in one of these peaks. At least with Tupperware, all of your creamy foods are in one container in your bag, not half in the bottom of your bag and the other half in and around the top container. I've waited 2 months to write a review just to give my daughter some time to use it for school lunch and see how the product performs proven. As you can see in the picture the plastic part started to separate from the metal part after 8 weeks of use!
