Yes, I know. The comparison chart on the product page has a small "x" to indicate they are not dishwasher safe. So it's my fault I didn't notice. I only wish I had done more research before purchasing and wish it was more prominently stated in the product description. I haven't tried washing them in the dishwasher (I read the label when they arrived) so they're still fine, but I'm really sorry I didn't know because I'm out of things would like that can not be washed dishwasher. In terms of performance, they kept the food warm the first time I used them, but in the future I'll have to warm up the food more before putting it in because the food wasn't that warm by lunchtime. They appear to be quite well designed and built. Let's see how long they last. [UPDATE] Three of the four check valves on one of these are broken. Not good.
