The manufacturer has replaced the kettle and this lid still works perfectly. I would like to point out that the lid only opens up to 45 degrees, which can make filling on some faucets difficult.

Beautiful teapot. Nice to look at and warm. The only problem was that the first one was broken and wouldn't stop cooking. Auto shut off didn't work. They replaced it and so far the new one is working fine.

The kettle looks very nice, we like it. I've even noticed that water tastes better after boiling in the kettle. The kettle also keeps the heat very well, which is very important to me as a loose tea lover. I would definitely recommend this.

Kettle works great and looks great on our counter. I thought it would look too big, but since it's mostly glass and tubes, it almost disappears. When it's on, the soft blue light is attractive. It's easy to fill and pours well, with a pretty good balance to hold it even when full. We are very happy with it.

Works great! I love that you only have to flip a switch to bring the water to a boil. This allows me to setup the pot for voice activation with my Wyze and Google Home outlets. You can't change the water temperature, but that's ok. I've noticed a slight white coating in the pot after a few uses, but that may be due to the condition of my water.

Never buy this kettle! First, it always has a misted glass, while other teapots always have a transparent glass, this one never has. Second, after two months of use, it started to flow. It still works and heats the water as it should, but when I pour boiling water into a cup it pours from the top like it should, but from the bottom like it shouldn't. The design is very pleasant and goes with almost any kitchen interior. Easy to use and the "flip top button" is handy. The amount of water is pleasant. And the handle makes it comfortable and safe to hold. I particularly like the base power source and the fact that it works in any position on the base. I bought this in July because it was advertised as 'stainless' and I liked the design. Apparently there are some plastic parts in the lid as it gave off strong chemical smells which dissipated after a few weeks of use (so far so good).
