Lux Angel Eyes cause a short circuit to the Xenon light control unit

Product causes failure of the BMW xenon light control unit. I had to buy a £500 replacement FCP lighting controller and return the Lux Angel Eyes to the seller. Be careful with higher light output which causes problems with the lighting control unit.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • The list is long.

Amazing lights! in LED & Neon Lights

Looks great on my 2009 BMW 328 (e92). It was very easy to install. It's really plug and play. There are no errors in the dashboard. No flicker. They are bright and pleasantly cool white in color. They look more yellow in photos, but it's definitely white light. I highly recommend these lights, I wouldn't use anything else for corner eyes.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • No Instructions

Not bright at all - lighting and lighting accessories

The built-in parts are not really the fault of the bulbs, but rather the lack of space in the engine compartment of the e90. The light doesn't look like the pictures on Amazon, the inner ring is bright but the outer ring is really dim for $200 I would think they would be really bright you'd better buy the cheaper ones on Amazon which are accurate so work the same.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Lots of things

Outer rings don't really shine E92 M3

Good quality hardware just don't expect the same results as the photos advertised on the site with outer rings matching inner rings. There were no problems during installation, you just have to wait a bit until the bulb fits into the cartridge. The outer rings can only really be seen from a great distance. The lamps work, they're just not advertised very accurately.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Frequency

Outer halo rings didn't light up

*edit* During the day they work little better than the bulbs on ebay. I thought they were made specifically for 335i cars so they light up the halos really well. I have to be honest they don't cost $200 and I'll probably just return them and run the LEDs on ebay since they're only around $40. They're not much better than $50 LEDs on ebay. I'm sure they last longer but on my 335i they don't light up the outer halo ring any more than the bulbs on ebay.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

As expected. About Accent & Off-Road Lighting

I've read many posts about how big the PITA is to deal with replacing these halo lights. I wanted the most durable option, and it supposedly is. I have never tried anything else, went straight for this one and am happy with it. Moderate your expectations as they DO NOT contain BOTH rings in full. Expect it to look like regular white halos. It was easy for me to remove the standard bulbs. Their installation required great care. Basically they were rotated to lock in place. It was the size of my…

Pros
  • Very Good Value
Cons
  • Only Available in Black

no Especially for such a price No.

To be honest I wasn't impressed. Lightbulbs are ok but installation is problematic. Color is good, brightness is acceptable. What really annoys me is that these bulbs are LED and are being sold by a reputable company that claims to be built flawlessly and yet ARE NOT FAULT FREE. How right? Why claim something that is fundamentally wrong. I disabled DRLs via the iDrive menu so the halos only light up when I turn on the lights. This is an OEM feature. I installed them and get a blown bulb message

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Fading
