I was hoping to see the back and sides of my hair. Only with this lighted vanity mirror could I see the sides. When I mounted a mirror directly behind me AND positioned the triple lighted mirror at an angle, I was able to see the back of my hair as well. The only criticism is the auto-off function. Pros: - Sturdy, well made - Portable, easily folds and stores away when not in use - Packed securely Cons: - The light is insanely bright. Be careful if you plan to use them, especially if you are very concentrating and not blinking frequently (e.g. when plucking your eyebrows, etc.).
