More like 80lb

I was used to 100 pounds or 110 pounds which was pretty heavy. It's definitely closer to 80 pounds. I use a lot of Recollections 110lb and Neenah 110lb cards (which are actually thicker than Recollections), so I'm VERY familiar with card density. I make postcards, so I like cardboard. These are nice colors (I have teal, plum and black) but they are bright and I can't use them for cards. Instead I will use them for the panel. I think it could be used as a base for maps, but it's a bit flimsy for

NOT 100lb cardboard! Save time and shop elsewhere if you need that specific weight for a project.

The description says 100lb box but in reality it is far from the case. This is definitely not for professional business cards or professional looking packaging projects. I would call it tough but flexible. If you specifically need a real £100 carton for something, buy elsewhere because it's not exact! It's even thinner than my 80 lb box! If you don't care that the weight is very light, some advantages are that the color is right. So if you care more about the weight, I think you can be happy…

Good card quality, too thick for gold foil.

Good quality cards. However, it is SUPER thick, around 300 gsm. It will not print on my HP Neverstop 1202w laser printer. My Epson inkjet printer prints fine. It prints fine on my HP Laser Jet Pro m478 MFP, but when I try to apply gold foil over the top through the Minc machine, there are still black spots here and there (see photo). I tried it with a lighter weight of 216 g/m². Card, same laser printer, same gold foil, and everything was perfect! So I assume the paper is too thick or not…
