Unbeatable for the price. Very easy to install - lightweight. The gold had a slight orange tinge to it, so keep that in mind. I actually just taped the lights on and spraypainted ours with whatever gold spray paint I had and they turned out absolutely perfect at the time.

To illuminate framed movie posters in our media room. Very easy installation. The remote control works well and is easy to use. There are multiple brightness settings and there is also a timer. It turned out to be the perfect solution for the lighting, just what I was looking for.

The color of the light output has two options, one of which is closer to the blue (hue) typical of LEDs. The other is softer, more halogen, although personally I prefer it a little more yellow. Also, my block is slightly curved. It is being installed, but the light itself is either slightly bent or simply assembled crookedly. It's not very noticeable at first glance, but the longer you look at it, the better you understand its irregular shape.

I bought three lamps, prepared them for installation (I haven't installed batteries yet) and left them on the table overnight. When I came back the next morning I found the plastic on the back of one light had leached out, staining my desk, ruining the finish and I can't get it out. Hi! Luxway people. Explain it. Very happy with this purchase. I knew it wasn't high quality light for a painting but right now I needed something inexpensive and it worked! To be honest I was lazy and didn't have the tools to actually mount it on the painting so I just laid it on top and it stuck to my back pretty well and since it was so light it worked perfectly! I ordered this lantern to go over a frame with a gold rim around the mat but the only gold part of this lantern was the swing arm. Most of the light is actually copper colored which doesn't work with my frame so I'm sending the light back. the target of the light, but the light is not bright enough for hue to matter.
