These shower filters all seem similar but this one works very well. I seem to have less hair loss since using this product.

I asked a friend of mine who is a chemical engineer working on water treatment projects in the oil and gas industry to test the ingredients in this product to see if it could combine hard water with soft water . His answer was "No". Not sure why the tag says it's a convertible? Is it just marketing? please suggest

This product is recommended if you are looking for something cheap and easy to install. There are so many similar products on Amazon that they charge $30 and with an additional filter you get the exact same product for half the price. The installation will probably take less than 3 minutes. I will update my review after using this product for a month.

Nicely packaged, two filters included (unusual). It has silicone seals and teflon tape, which is very convenient. If the end of your shower pipe is smooth and long enough, you don't need to use Teflon tape. I bought it to reduce the smell in the water. It almost completely reduced the smell, which was quite strong. but not quite. The shampoo is easier to rinse out of the hair and after the shower we feel cleaner.

I bought 2 of these for both my showers and they are great. Easy installation and great results. Where I live the water is hard and softeners are expensive! I thought I'd try. I've only been using it for 3 days and I can see and feel results. My hair went from super frizzy and dry to soft and manageable after a shower. My daughter has eczema and dry scalp and this has helped her. My husband's skin has never been softer. This is a really affordable option and it really works.

It was very easy to install, be sure to wrap the white tape 8 times. I made all the connections and bought better plumbing. And where it is written that washers are not needed, use them anyway. Mine was leaking at the shower hose junction until I put the rubber washer in place. The water pressure is excellent. Despite my outdoor system, I have very hard water.
