These are huge towels, they easily envelop my body and my husband's. However, they are too big to wrap around your hair, but we have smaller towels for that. We've been using them for a full month now, changing 4 towels and of course washing each of them 5 times that month. on both of our skin in several places. After 4 washes it stopped. I bought these towels on a whim after reading many reviews and thinking they represented the best value for money. I've learned the hard way that you can't just buy towels and use them. They must be washed several times before use. The exact number depends on the brand, the hardness of your water, and your tolerance for getting your skin wet after using a "dry" towel.
