Be very specific with shipping information

Product exactly as described and just what my husband needed. The only problem was actually the delivery, not the product, it was delivered to my neighbor not to us. Luckily my husband walked around and came across our neighbor's porch knowing they were out of town.

Fast calibration and very accurate.

Easy to learn and very accurate. Calibration after studying the sequence takes about half a minute. This is a very accurate level - even the bubbles are accurate. If you're looking for accuracy and reliability - I use mine for on-site construction inspections - you'll be glad you spent the extra money on this quality SmartTool level.

A second pair of eyes to read the ampoule is not required. The audible sound is excellent and all you need.

Nice tool. I bought this to replace an old, worn out 24" spirit level that I've been using for 10 years. I have levels of any length and from different manufacturers. But for a project where you only have two hands, this tool is essential. The beep lets you use the spirit level without reading the bubble. You have to align the picture or the 6,8,10 inch board without a full crew. The audible tone is less subjective than a bubble to the untrained eye.

I would like it to be modular.

Unfortunately this slowed me down because now I'm checking and adjusting EVERYTHING until the level is 0.0 or 0.1. I like that it automatically detects when I'm orienting vertically or horizontally and automatically rotates the display top to bottom when needed. I also used the beep function and it makes two different sounds so I can easily figure out which direction I need to move the object. I just wish the digital module was removable so I could 1) use it in smaller ranges and 2) so I could…

Excellent work tool

I have been using the SmartTool 4 foot electronic level at work for several years and have found it to be extremely reliable and durable. I recently replaced it with a 2ft model after placing a 4ft footer where it was kinked through no fault of my own. It was used in road construction to take accurate elevation readings when needed. It was used frequently on hot roads to check grade test readings and worked flawlessly. While I wouldn't recommend leaving the level on a 300 degree surface for any
