I really thought they were lined with that soft material to keep them warm. money thrown away. I bought 3, 1 for each child. My youngest loves it but the zipper broke after a month of wearing it. My daughter hates it because it's not warm at all. The eldest son is indifferent, but prefers never to wear it.

Feels and looks like a well designed and built jacket. The material feels heavy and the stitching looks perfect. The color is a beautiful blue with flashes of yellow-green. It was a wonderful find.

Got these jackets for my 4 year old twins. I love that they are thin enough for a car seat and warm enough to take in and out of the car. They are of excellent quality and the outside is a thick material with a thin fleece material. They also look stylish. Totally recommended, worth the money!

Bought the large and fits the large. I bought it because the last one was exactly the same, a year later the zipper on it broke. I would have bought a different type but this was the only jacket that offered the combination of what I was looking for. Something great for chilly mornings and evenings in fall and spring, and waterproof to boot. I found many jackets that were only waterproof but not warm, or simply warmer jackets for the transitional season, but none were waterproof and vice versa.

I ordered this jacket in two different colors and hid it for a month as we didn't need it. The black is great - thick enough and like the windproof shell I was hoping for. It's a slightly different fabric than the green jacket (the green is more like the shell material I've seen on adult/branded jackets).
