Bought for my mom to get rid of all the extra charging cords on her bedside table. This is great for travel as the cord wraps around the base but I thought it would be perfect for her. It has an on/off switch on the top and is easy to connect with a USB cable. The shape makes it easy to grab and hold for those with arthritis or shaky hands, but it's fairly compact -- maybe the size of a softball. Ideal for the bedside table. I want to grab some of these now!

First I removed the socket in the floor under the sofa. Due to the compact design of this extension, it is better to hide it under the edge of the table. And I can connect more than one bulky connector without having to try multiple combinations. This was a bonus feature until I bought it because of the USB ports. There is also an on/off button.

Should be a 45 flat corner cap. Seems worth a try. One photo shows angled spade connectors mating with the device, but they come with a straight connector. The flat corner offers much more freedom when placing furniture in front of sockets. Cleanliness and comfort are the reasons I bought and returned the unit with the best configuration.

The extension is perfect for my space and application needs. The only negative comment is that the pins on the plugs are not tight enough and when I have to move the extension they sometimes fall out. What I connect to the extension are 3 power supplies for external hard drives, which are not heavy at all.

Has the features I need for my bedside table. More than expected. (I didn't look at the specs) USB ports are chargers but serve as a power source. What I hate is the blue power of light. Reviews said it's boring and not irritating, but (in my opinion) it's too harsh. Tape to tape and problem solved. Features are good but not what I thought I bought.

I'd like it weighted if that makes sense. It's fairly light and if it sits on your desk and doesn't move I think that would be fine. However, I have this in my living room because I needed power strips for phones, tablets, a ring charger, etc. However, if you move one of the charging cables, the entire base appears to move, so yes it does. what it's supposed to do, but the base movement is pretty annoying every time. Had I known that, I would have saved $ and just used a plain two prong…
