I am very satisfied with these devices. I've honestly bought hundreds for various projects, giveaways, and post-programming resale. I don't understand how they can do dissertations at such a low cost. Amazing features!

I got this to use with the wifi hash monster and it worked fine. I wasn't sure if you need the "Fire" version, but this one works. Getting it to compile is a little tricky. You need to install a patchy unsigned driver in order for it to communicate over USB and load compiled programs. This part sucks. The included battery is a joke and only lasts about 20 minutes. I had to order a large stackable battery from China but couldn't find it anywhere in the US for a reasonable price.

I like this idea. I like the platform, the form factor and how it's built. Unfortunately, it has a pretty obvious downside. Downloading code from the Arduino IDE onto this device is a real disappointment. The device will try to update to get the download, but this almost always fails. The "workaround" is to try to press the power button at EXACTLY the right moment when the Arduino IDE is trying to boot, otherwise you'll get a board not found error. The M5stack is a fantastic little product, but it has some serious flaws. several posts about this on the support forum, but setting DAC to 0 didn't solve the problem. I had to cut the speaker wire to get rid of the unbearable noise. The second big problem was that the battery arrived almost empty.
