No power supply included

Do not confuse the cable in the picture with the power supply. This is a remote sensor extension. It doesn't come with an AC adapter and if you have some sort of automatic application that might be fine, but if you're going to use it at home you'll need to spend more on an AC adapter than you might expect, making the value more limited. This requires a full size 12V power supply.

That's exactly what I wanted. nearly.

Exactly what I wanted. I wanted some music in my old car, but I didn't want to pay more for the radio than the car. I hooked it up last night and the sound is very good from the 2 6 inch speakers installed in the doors. I put all my songs on an SD card and when I plugged it in it started playing right away. The remote control works, does not turn the device on/off, you have to turn the knob. The only thing I would like is the ability to shuffle songs.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • Exchange possible

Privately used for household and work. As a physical education teacher, I use this product at school because it's so easy and simple to use that I plug it in for outdoor and indoor music entertainment. Communication with the seller was also fantastic. My first package was damaged and the seller was very reliable and sent me another one no questions asked! Great product for people who love music and want sand almost anywhere they have a speaker.

Pros
  • There is something inside

If there's a weak link, it's the missing power supply

I like the performance, the sound quality and the features. Couldn't be better for the price. I use it to play over 13,000 MP3s from a flash drive. Sometimes it takes multiple attempts for the device to recognize the drive, which I think is due to the large number of files. The lack of an AC adapter can be problematic as the 5 amp adapters on offer are large, similar to those used in laptops, and in my case resulted in distortion and noise during FM radio reception. I use a 3 amp power supply…

  • Best in its niche

Great little receiver for the money!

I use it every day and sometimes it works all night when I sleep with an SD card loaded with 8GB MP3s. Think that in megabytes and you've got tons of music that can't be repeated at any point during sleep. I wake up to the music I want to hear. It has a remote control which isn't perfect but works! For me it doesn't really matter since I don't use it, I regulate the volume first. For audio I use JVC two-way surround speakers and they put out just enough bass to sound pretty good, no more than…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Update availability

This little amp was carefully packaged and arrived in good condition. The build quality of the case and off-circuit parts is good. However, the unit was poorly assembled and the speaker wire connections on the back were weak and when the speaker wire was connected the spring popped out of the unit. When I tried to replace it it fell into the case and I had to open the case (the screws held it in place). I took out the spring and examined the soldered circuit. The wire broke due to very bad…
