Review on MA 120 Digital Channel Amplifier Sending by Amy Wilkins

This little amp was carefully packaged and arrived in good condition. The build quality of the case and off-circuit parts is good. However, the unit was poorly assembled and the speaker wire connections on the back were weak and when the speaker wire was connected the spring popped out of the unit. When I tried to replace it it fell into the case and I had to open the case (the screws held it in place). I took out the spring and examined the soldered circuit. The wire broke due to very bad soldering. I connected the wire to the screw and assembled the block. I was able to connect the device to the speakers by carefully balancing the spring. Once the speakers were hooked up, the sound from the radio and 5 disc player was very acceptable and actually exceeded all expectations for this little $20-30 CDN amp. I haven't tested the USB and memory card, but I've noticed on YouTube that other people have done this and I'm guessing it's ok.
