I think I expected too much from what appeared to be a genuine Apple product. Half of the buttons don't work with my X-Plane. And because of the obviously poor quality and design, characters kept skipping. This is definitely trying to look like an Apple keyboard. But the keys require a firmer press despite their island-style form factor. I've been using a Macally keyboard for 2.5 years and wanted to replace it (few issues - maybe my old iMac but I'm a keyboard novice). I bought an ultra thin full aluminum silver keyboard with numeric keys to work with my Microsoft Surface Book 2. Update: Macally customer service took care of everything politely and quickly. Very good problem solving experience. Original: Caps Lock Light went out in less than 1 day. At the start of the second day, keyboard input just stopped. No keystrokes are registered. Plugging and unplugging fixed these issues, but after a few minutes it started working again. Although the manufacturer claims that this keyboard resembles an apple, this is not true. Mind you, that's not bad, but I spend a lot of time correcting missed keystrokes. Ever since I got this keyboard, my iMac has had problems. The keyboard stops working at all times. The cursor freezes and nothing can be done to fix the problem. Luckily, the mouse can at least open System Preferences, but to reset the keyboard preferences, you need to press the button to the right of the Shift key.
