Fairly easy to apply, it just clips onto your laptop. There are 4 different keyboard cases included in the box. So if one doesn't fit your Mac, chances are another in the box will. The illuminated keyboard letters behind the keyboard cover cannot be seen. My only complaint is that if you have a USB-C hub that sits flush with the laptop when plugged in, it WILL NOT WORK with the case included. Nice case, but it sucks. I looked at the model of my MacBook and made sure I selected the correct model and DID. I received the cover and I can tell right away that it wasn't made the right way. It looks like a terrible job was done on it. It doesn't cover my MacBook completely leaving a gap as the top and bottom don't line up at all! In addition, CS is missing. Don't buy this.

The keyboard case that came with it was so cute! i wanted to love it It didn't adhere well to the keys right out of the gate, flexing in places and flush with the keyboard. I have acrylic on my long nails so I know their effects are more extreme than someone without them BUT the buttons on the cover started rubbing and cracking against the material within a week of use. If you use your laptop every day and expect these cases to last, I would suggest a different product.

I particularly liked the wooden case that clicks into place perfectly. Screen protector bonus, although I have a lot of blisters, but that's because I didn't have the patience to get them all out. Other products I've seen covering the MacBook Pro had products that were difficult to smooth over the laptop's surface. Not this one. Front and back match perfectly. There's a rubber keyboard cover, which comes in handy when you're eating and drinking at work. I don't, so that's an option. The tricky part is a screen protector—again, optional. I used it.
