The idea behind this product was simple - connect to any device with internet access (or even without) using your browser! And then make it available as web service in order not only be able use from our mobile phones but also other smart home appliances etc.. So far I would say everything works fine except when you want create new "thing" via REST API call which takes time if there are too many thing connected at once so we should have some kind filtering mechanism implemented before going…

Pros
  • The platform works and works fine
Cons
  • I can not say I have any cons
  • Pros: The platform works and works fine

I love how easy it was to get up & running with MacChiNa - just follow their instructions! The documentation could be improved in some areas (e.g., GPIO pins), but overall this has been great so far as we're getting our feet wet working through examples provided by them using real hardware components from Adafruit Industries' products line). We are currently focusing only at first glance upon developing web services / APIs which can then actuate other IoT connected systems such as light…

Pros
  • Easy deployment
  • Documentation is excellent including tutorials, code samples for Python3/Django1.
  • Supports several platforms that make development more easier than before ios8 Apple API changed
Cons
  • I will keep silent

Excellent service, responsive and professional staff

Macchinas' documentation was very helpful in getting me up to speed with their product! The team at maccinainc made themselves available through slack when I had questions about how things worked (and even offered some help!). They also responded promptly once we started working together - which really helped my confidence as well since they were so willing put out there time into helping us get it right from day 1!! We are using them primarily because our needs fit what's provided by other…

Pros
  • Ability for Linux native driver support
  • Full source code viewability including kernel modules, libs & headers
  • Good test coverage metrics included within PRD documents
Cons
  • Minor Issues
