Nearly the best in accessories and consumables

I wish I could give this product 5 stars but unfortunately I can't. I have received a defective item. The input jack is not working properly. If I push 1/4 all the way down I only get mono sound. So I had to tie two 1/4 wires together to hear the stereo. I accidentally threw away the packaging so I couldn't return it. Otherwise I think it's a great product. I just want a working device.

I was sold a defective item.

I can't find a seller anymore. It was listed as in very good condition and "may have some blemishes" which would have been normal. But they sold me one with a broken channel. Seriously, the third channel just doesn't work. I can't believe Amazon allows things like this. For the last few months I thought it was my fault and I could make it work by figuring out the problem but I took it to an electronics shop and they told me yes the preamp board was broken. The return window has long since…

The headphone output is divided into 4 regulated headphone outputs

No need to look for a clean preamp output. You can split the output to active headphones, just leave the output level set to around 30%, send that signal to the 1/4" TRS input connector, then connect any headphones via the 4-1/4" mm TRS output to port 1 and adjust the volume for each listener. . no hissing or buzzing in the headphones, just clear sound. I run the volume between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. with a lot of headphone volume. Don't forget your 1/4" TRS 1/4" stereo input and output…

This is what we were looking for

I play in a small band that plays at local parties. We've always had a problem with speaker monitors as our singer only wanted to hear the keys but has a loud guitar during a performance. And on top of that the looping because of the speakers and nothing. It solved everything at once and we had the best show yet with this one. As many have said, we bought our own good headphones. But not only could we control the volume for each person, we could hear everyone clearly. I highly recommend it for…

Good design and no radio interference from ham radio

Used to transfer sound to computer programs used with my ham radio equipment. I snapped RF chokes to the main input and all outputs (4) of this headphone amp and had no radio interference in the sound even at relatively high power at 6 meters. I haven't tested it on HF yet, but if I find a problem I'll edit the review. This distribution amplifier works well for my particular application where distortion needs to be avoided. I don't need a high fidelity response, but the signal coming out of the

Maki, I'm not mad. I'm just disappointed.

I confess, maybe my expectations of this product were too high. I've always been very impressed with Mackie in the past, especially for the price. I've listened to a lot of very expensive speakers and studio monitors in my time, and I can say the Mackie Hr824s are the best sounding speakers I've ever heard. Meanwhile, that headphone amp sounds awful as hell. I've tried several headphones and none of them sound good with this one. The Dt770s sound even heavier than usual at higher frequencies…

Really disappointed in Mackie

I never thought you could hate a headphone amp as much as I do but wow what a disappointment. First good news. it sounds good when it works. However, mine has a bad channel in headphone mix 1, which of course I discovered during the session. The singer complained that he could only be heard from one side of the phones. After about 20 minutes of troubleshooting, I determined it was a brand new headphone amp and quickly switched to Mix 2 to end the session. That would have been enough, but it was
