So far it has proven to be very easy to use. Initially it was easy to install. It does not cause problems when closing the laptop. In cafes, I just walk around the counter in the middle of the table. The cable length works well and is not too short.

Please note this product is NOT compatible with 2019 Macbook Pro 13" with Touch Bar. I ordered this product and need to return it. I have a 13 inch with only two USB-C ports but it doesn't. probably doesn't matter compared to the 4-port version. The problem with this is that the edge-lock adapter is shaped to fit into the side vent on the bottom of the MacBook Pro. I have a new 13" MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. This lock is very easy to install and very easy to use. The lock itself is not flexible, but that means at least that it cannot be stolen, the only negative is that the part you screw into your computer moves a lot and leaves a mark, but the mark can be removed by rubbing FYI, you don't drill holes in yours computer and you don't have to remove any screws.

I have a Mac Pro Retina. The adaptability of the lock adapter is amazing as I can install it on the left or right side next to the touchpad or touchpad, which is very convenient. If you're left-handed and everything is made right-handed, that's amazing. I work in customer service so it's very safe and easy and quick to install and use.

I've had the groin lock socket adapter for over a month now and the adapter itself serves the purpose. I can finally lock my new touchscreen MacBook Pro when I'm away from my desk. I only give this product 2 stars because it was a kit: a lock slot adapter AND a cable to use it with. I received a combination cable lock but it jammed during installation and I was never able to use it.
