The Mag-Float-350 Large Glass Aquarium Cleaner is recommended for use with glass aquariums up to 350 gallons with a surface thickness up to 5/8”. Includes Mag-Float Metal Scraper. Product dimensions: (3-1/4" x 2-1/2" x 1"). The Mag-Float cleaners contain special abrasive velcro pads that remove waste from the surface of your aquarium. The Mag-Float floats when the inner magnet separates from the outer magnet. Because you never have to reach into the aquarium, not only can you stay clean and dry, but you also avoid toxic lotions or soap residue on your skin from getting into your aquarium water. Can be used on freshwater and saltwater tanks. Magnet does not lose strength over time.

does not work on 15mm

I have a rimless 180 gallon with 15mm glass. It was a 350 magnetic float designed for 16mm or 5/8 glass and wasn't strong enough to cross a corner or exert enough pressure to remove the algae very well. I had to keep passing the same spots from different angles. If you have 15mm thick glass choose the next size up

Fiction! Best in Fish & Aquatic Pets

I have several aquariums. I have had magnetic floats for many years and am very satisfied. I have several stubborn algae in the same aquarium. The old magnetic float worked perfectly on all but one of the tanks. It would take many passes to remove most of it from the jar. I tried blue handled scrapers but the glue holding the pads together didn't work and smeared all over the glass. Don't waste your money on any of them. This magnetic float with scraper quickly removes stubborn dirt. Very happy

Go for the "strong " magnet, not the "super strong ". and be careful not to pinch your fingers!

All I can say is . HOLY SHIT! . Wow, this product has made cleaning the aquarium MUCH easier! The Tunzy brand was $97! This one was MUCH cheaper, about 1/2 the price, and done in one fell swoop! No scrubbing! I have 2 55 and 60 gallon tanks, one has lots of algae. I had to clean and clean my old scraper. This . a swing! The extension has ended! Which used to take an hour. done in 10 minutes! Tanks are now crystal clear! BUY THIS PRODUCT!
