Looks fantastic but unfortunately the color fades after a few weeks. We were concerned that this might affect the water quality in the aquarium, so we took a sample to test at an aquarium store and all was fine. A few months later the fish has survived so it's not toxic to our fish and plants, but it's a little disappointing that it doesn't keep the beautiful original colors. Purchased this SpongeBob feature for my Roosterfish who lives in a 3.5 gallon aquarium with good cycle on April 29, 2020 for $6.88. I washed it in very warm (dechlorinated) water before putting it in the aquarium. The inner edges appear very sharp, probably not suitable for living animals. I use it in a snow globe, so it's no problem other than reversing when assembling the globe. This is one of the cutest aquarium decorations I have ever seen. I'm so happy I got it! However, I have to post a buyer warning: My pineapple has EXTREMELY sharp edges. Got a small cut while trying to fix it and yes it's fixable. The edges are really the only thing holding me back from giving this product a five star rating.
