Universal! Does the job!

Love the versatility and durability (Beware of weird missteps like getting stuck in a car door, shopping cart, etc. Only important when holding together with magnets! Really a great plus for every wardrobe. Buys rather smaller sizes for blouses etc.

They definitely won't let them down or fall apart unexpectedly, in fact if you're older and have arthritic hands they might be difficult to open but she's young and I've been happy with them.

I liked that this set comes in both silver and gold. They're quite large (about the size of a quarter) so I figured they'd hold up for sure. The first time I used them, I was wearing a large scarf, the thickness of a pair of flannel pajama bottoms, twice the size I "held" it together. It fell off several times and I had to search for it on one side until I couldn't find it the third time. Works great! When I first tried them I thought the magnets weren't strong enough. Then I realized I was using them incorrectly. It turns out that reading the instructions comes in handy! The set includes a magnetic ball and a Saturn-like ring. These two must be separated. The ball goes through the front and the ring behind the fabric you want to attach.
