I was quite annoyed that they didn't work at all. First, it feels like there's literally a piece of wire in the hanger. I can feel where the piece twists and falls apart. The matter is not as simple as it seems. If you try to flatten it, it unwinds. I could make them better! If the wire was a solid piece it would work much better and be worth buying. I think you might need a second person (or just more coordination and patience than me) to make it work and look good. I have long enough hair, with enough body, but I just couldn't get it to work for me. I think I could do it in someone else's hair. I looked at the instructions to make it myself and decided I didn't want to do it. The build quality seemed fine.
