It is disappointing that not a single box of these tea bags intended for cooking was sealed or opened during shipment, leaving the bags open. I'm of the opinion that anything intended for cooking should be properly sealed, at least these days. I don't feel comfortable knowing someone opened the packaging and touched the pouches before I used them. Too bad because I've used them in the past and they work great.

I love these bags and am happy to say they have not changed over the years. I have 3 sizes depending on how much you want, like a cup or a 2-3 cup jug. I also use them for 1 cup of coffee. The hole can be bent but I seal them with my FoodSaver. For coffee I think a small paperclip can be used to make sure the hole doesn't let the coffee grounds out? In any case, no foreign taste, great packaging made of chlorine-free paper and made in Germany! Highly recommended.

The bottom of these tea bags will break 75% of the time you put tea in them and 15% of the time you pour water on them. Very unsatisfactory and uncomfortable. UPDATE The seller sent me a very nice message along with two refills and some free tea. Apparently it was just a manufacturing defect at their factory. They sent me replacements as soon as I complained and overall I would say it was a great experience given that these new bags are in perfect condition.

This is a good product. Easy to clean and without flavors (unless they add flavor to the tea). As mentioned in another review, they don't have a hygiene stamp, which is surprising as it's a food product. It would be even better to put the box in a ziplock bag. However, something is going to kill me, and if it's a teabag, so be it. Tea bags that you can fill yourself seem hard to come by and tea balls don't work for me. I have been using these loose tea bags for several years now. They are amazing. Then my wife found "coffee bags" (like regular tea bags, just with ground coffee) which are great for a cup (and sooooo much cheaper than those pods) and I was wondering if they would work? YES SIR.
