I just love the yo-yo. On the other hand, what I didn't like was that there wasn't a large bowl to rotate your fingers, which would have been nice. But for the price and brand, I'd reissue it to any yo-yoer 1A.

I definitely have experience with yo-yos. At first the yo-yo was wobbly when I threw it, so I applied the tiniest amount of WD-40 to lubricate the bearings. Now it's nice and smooth and stays down for at least 45 seconds on a good throw. I wrapped the bowstring 4 times around the bearing as I please. Make sure the line is neatly wrapped around the bearing for balance with each cast.

On most of my casts, the yo-yo's string slips to the left or right of the bearing due to the off-center string causing the yo-yo to tilt, twist, or shake. This makes it almost impossible to perform a bind, let alone any other trick. This problem persisted with 3 different strings and multiple winding/release methods. I wouldn't buy it again but I respect the aesthetic and other reviews seem able to make this work somehow. So I'll compromise with 3 stars and say maybe you can get this to work.

Magicyoyo is known for their reasonably priced yoyos and is considered a budget company but I think this yoyo and also their more expensive recent casts make Magicyoyo a real contender. What I like most about this throw is the finish. It looks great with two different finishes: the caps have a nice reflective finish and the outside has a surprisingly smooth finish.
