Type of review

I installed this in our RV where we had a round USB charger that broke. Easy 2 wire 12 volt installation. I only had to cut the front panel off because the place I installed was limited space between the wall and the head unit. I put a switch in so I can turn it off when not in use. The power indicator LED is fairly dim, which is good as it won't disturb your night's sleep in the RV.

  • Absolutely amazing!

it worked great! best AV accessory

I recently added solar panels and an MPPT controller for the panels. I then installed this wall charger in my camper trailer and connected it to the MPPT controller's 12v auxiliary output. I was able to charge my phones. Kindle and all other 12V devices offline for a whole week. For the installation I used a standard single installation box. I had to get my own screws to attach the wall charger to the box as they weren't supplied. However, it worked great!

Great for wall panels and connections

Perfect for our camper to charge our phones and lighters from the trailer's 12v battery when we weren't connected to shore power. A tiny green LED is lit all the time, but I haven't dry camped long enough to noticeably affect my trailer's battery. (Actually two 6 volt golf cart batteries with a combined capacity of about 240 amp hours). I've noticed that one Kindle charges faster than the other. I bought a black switch plate from Lowe's that matched in size and color. We then also connected a…

Charges quickly and makes no noise when used

I bought this to replace the 12v cigarette lighter/USB combo in my caravan. The old USB ports made a high-pitched squeak when in use, and they were right next to the head of the bed. This new charger fits well and is absolutely silent even when using all 4 ports. I would have liked the option without the bright green LED as it's right next to my bed, but I just put a small piece of black tape on it. I would recommend this charger to anyone looking to replace or upgrade their trailer.

Great for RVs! You will use the HECK out of it!

We drive long distances in our motorhome and don't always camp at a campsite. We do a lot of dry camping here and there or mooring. With this product, Magnadyne WC-USB-B 12V Wall Mount USB Charging 4 Ports 12-16V DC Input Included with the Wall Plate, we can easily charge our two phones while we are parked. Throw in a good USB powered fan and it makes hot nights bearable. I thought it would be overkill to buy a 4 port charger but we use it a lot. I could buy another one for the dorm room that I

Great RV Upgrade! Best in Distribution

I installed one of these in my motorhome in no time at all. I have a couple of solar panels that I installed on the roof and connected to the house battery. My solar controller and inverter are under one of the dining benches and are accessible through the outside door. I simply connected the wiring from the solar controller output jack (rarely used) directly to this jack and you are done. The dining bench has fairly thin side panels and I just traced and cut a hole to the perfect size. I…

Fried and POS CC Reader USB Cable

Connected to 12V with mains fuse. Worked fine yesterday. This morning we found that none of the connected devices were working and the cables were no longer carrying power. That outlet blew our system and our POS card reader has no screen and our Apple cables don't charge the devices either. WTF We have a mobile store and now we don't have a working POS credit card reader, everything is manual now and we have to buy new cables to charge our scanner, iPad and mobile phones. Battery power to fuse

Excellent USB charger for RV solution

Our RV has a USB port and a 12v charging port on the road side but not the sidewalk side. I decided to use the same brand as the one on the trailer so I found Magnadyne to OEM the original. I don't need a cigarette socket at this point, so I went with the 4 USB socket version instead. (In the picture the two plate picture is the original trailer equipment, in the three plate picture I have added this Magnadyne container - the leftmost unit in this picture). The device looks very well made…
