Made with an extremely strong magnet that allows for unlimited lighting possibilities on METAL roofs, gates, flashing, hand rails, and any other metal surface. Heavy duty, commercial grade, magnetic clip primarily for C9 light sockets, but will also work with C7. The clips are made for standard SPT-1 or 18 AWG wire. ***PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR SURFACE IS METAL. MAGNETS WILL NOT STICK TO ALUMINUM.***. The strong magnetic connection will stay in tact in any kind of weather. You can hang the magnets horizontally or vertically. Overhyped & Unreliable: Avoid

Using this product, our team found that the magnets were too weak and unable to hold up in windy conditions. We also noticed that some of the sockets had faulty wiring, resulting in flickering lights. The only upside was that the sockets themselves were easy to install. Overall, we do not recommend this product for anyone looking for strong, reliable outdoor Christmas lighting.

Suitable for use in outdoor trailers

Tried them on a painted edge. The magnets could definitely be stronger. The string was difficult to install as it pulled the clamps away from the metal. I was finally able to install it in place. They are ok but seem a bit pricey for what they are.

If you have a steel/iron fence or apron, this is a lightweight Christmas light button.

Do you suffer from OCD? Do you love a beautiful, perfectly maintained string of Christmas lights? This is your ticket to satisfaction. With these things you can position the devices perfectly, which can be mounted on a metal pole or fence very easily. I used old fashioned clear C9 bulbs and got a lot of compliments on the perfectly straight display. I used to use zip ties to secure my fairy lights to the fence but these magnetic clips saved me a ton of time and made the installation a lot…
