When I installed this drain plug I found that it did not fit. There was a wrong current. The return date has already passed.

Thick copper gasket has survived many oil changes since purchase, machined plug just fits better all around, easier to screw in, edges don't round off as easily as a short factory screw

I've bought other PBE products, never had a problem but it seems Madison is leaking, same as the original, with a rubber seal built into the plug. The swan has a copper sealing ring. Based on the leak I will probably try to contact the company.

Only installed today after an oil change. Perfect fit and tightness, no leaks. The only complaint is that the edges of the hex nut are so sharp that the hex head won't fit, so you'll need to use a 16mm 12-point head. Will update next oil change to see if magnet catches anything.

I received this drain plug along with a CAT oil filter and adapter nipple so I can use the 1R-1807 filter on my 2011 LML. So naturally I bought a PSA magnetic drain plug to prolong the life of my engine and to identify or flag up future problems during service intervals.
