Powerful 13 amp motor. Capacity to cut up to 1-5/8 in. diameter holes. 2 Speed gearbox 475/730 RPM. Tool can be adjusted tool-free between annular cutters at 475RPM and twist drill bits at 730 RPM. Tool free motor head adjustment
Based on my observations, this kit falls short in terms of performance and accuracy. While the magnet may appear strong, it doesn't hold up under heavy use. The drill also tends to wobble, resulting in imprecise drilling. On the positive side, the kit is easy to assemble. Unfortunately, the cons outweigh the pros, making the kit a poor investment for those in need of a reliable magnetic drill press.
Pros
Strong and stable drilling due to the magnetic base
Cons
Difficult to move around as it is quite heavy and needs to be secured to a surface
The magnet is weak, the power switch is weird, the motor is insanely noisy and the quality suggests Chinese origin. Not worth the money. The huge case it comes in is fun, though, as is the Milwaukee spray can.
Small enough for easy handling. The magnet's strength is sufficient to hold the drill to vertical steel beams. The engine power is sufficient to drill large-diameter wells with the help of drill bits. You cling to this practice and exhaust it before you give it up.
