This is a good timer. Easy to use, easy to read, loud alarm. There are magnets on the back that are strong enough to hold it to a metal surface. The only downer is the narrow view of the LCD, as it is difficult to read from a left or right viewing angle.

There is a person in my house who likes to boil eggs on the stove and then always goes away and forgets about them. This device helps and significantly reduces our overcooked egg problem. It's loud enough to be annoying if you doze off on the couch while you wait, and it's easy to use and easy to read.

What a great timer! Not only is it very attractive, but it also has a large screen, good contrast of the LCD numbers and a very loud alarm to alert you. It also has two very strong magnets on the back. We love to keep ours on the side of the fridge, but it's painted textured steel and our previous magnetic timer kept slipping off. This stays in place.

We used this for grandparents who forgot something on the stove when they left. Numbers and buttons that are easy to use. The sound is ok when you are in the room. but for older people who are already losing their hearing, it's not loud enough. We'd like it to be louder and have the ability to adjust the volume based on usage. We have it with a magnet on the fridge.

This timer is attractive and goes well with my black fridge. It's easy enough to install and run, and the numbers are easy to read. The timer can be easily started and stopped. The problem is that when it stops the countdown restarts and resetting the numbers is a bit tricky and difficult for those with long nails. It is also not possible to decrease the setting, so if it exceeds the desired setting, the setting must be deleted and the process restarted.

I thought I wouldn't like this timer because the numbers can only be increased, not decreased. So if you miss the setting, you'll have to start over. Also, because the display dims after you set it, you can't just look at the timer to see how much time you have left. I actually don't like this timer because the two small metal magnets on the back of mine are glued at an angle, creating two small sharp edges that scratched my stainless steel hood. This is a simple and handy digital timer. The little printed guide that comes with it is ridiculously secondary in English, but it does what it's supposed to do. It is easy to understand how to set the time, how to start, pause and cancel. The illuminated numbers are clearly visible from afar. I keep this on the fridge in my workbench kitchen when I'm making French presses. That's basically all it's used for, and that's what it works for. Two things to note: 1. It cannot be stopped, you must stop it. (So make sure you can hear it.) 2. If you stop it, it will reset to the time you set.
