Compatible with MaxxAir Fan or Fantastic Fan 16.5′′ x 16.5′′ flanges. Made with 5.0mm double foiled aluminum XPE insulation which reflects up to 95% of radiant heat. Uses powerful N52 Neodymium magnets to hold in place. Durable ripstop UV resistant Polyester fabrics. Storage sack included. SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED TO INSTALL MAGNETS. NOTE: If your fan is shallow mounted (where the opening knob hangs lower than the roof line), our cover will not work as our it needs the full surface to seal/attach against.

#vanlife essential: HVAC

This is a must have accessory if you have a maxxfan in your van. 1. Reduce fan noise, especially when it is windy. (You should still get the rattling sound seals). 2 Last night the full moon shone straight in my face through the fan. I put it on and had a great night's sleep. Just get it.

Easy to work with, great product

Used to darken the bedroom for the kids/us to have a nap and as extra insulation to control temperature on Hot Days worked great on both occasions. Easy to Install: Remove the bezel, mount it to the screen, place magnets where they will snap and secure (used tape, super glue will work too), then put the bezel back onto the vent and you're done.

Great case and great price!

Great case for Maxxfan in our Revel. Easy to install, helps retain heat and almost completely eliminates fan noise when driving on the highway. Installation Tip: When removing the fan shroud to install the magnets, position the cover exactly where you want it, then place the magnets on the inside of the shroud as they will snap and center your cover. exactly how you want it. We used blue masking tape to attach the magnets to the inside of the fairing which is a smart move rather than gluing as…
