The only problem is that if you have odd shaped items the baskets will tip over when you pick things up and take them out if you have odd shaped items then they need to be attached to the bars. I needed to make room to store my spices and herbs. After much deliberation about options and a few tries that just didn't work for me, I settled on these magnetic stands. I didn't have to use the "bars" - the shelves on the side of my fridge are VERY strong, making access to the spice and herb jars extremely convenient, and it freed up a large drawer in my kitchen AND a shelf in my baking rack . My kitchen looks more organized and these shelves make access to the jars a lot easier. These items

magnets are strong enough to hold fridge without hard top mount. Although I've found that there is a weight limit if I've added too many full spice jars. But without additional support, just with magnets, there is no need to align them with each other. Love it, here's what we've done and no one's fallen off yet. Others have complained that the shelves are too small for two rows of spice jars. That's true, but with round lenses you can stagger them, fit more in and still see the back row blurry.

This is a great magnetic spice rack that saves space in a small kitchen. We just attached it to the side of our fridge with magnets and they are so strong we didn't have to use the extra double sided tape that was also included. The height of the shelves is pre-determined, but we could only use 3 of the 4 shelves in the spot we chose for the shelf, so we added a 4th shelf to the front of our fridge to store various items.
