The product works well. It fits my iPhone 7 Plus or my wife's xR with no issues. Keeps the phone handy and I put it in a good spot so I can plug in the extra cable. I gave it 3 stars to be safe. It keeps the phone secure but doesn't add any "security". The questions seem misleading. A second mount was placed in our boat to hold the phone while using the Blue Tooth speakers. Works well to keep phone off boat bottom and keep safe.

Extremely disappointed with this automatic mount. The glue/suction cup/sticker (3M) sounded so promising and secure, but it can't even stick like a piece of tape. The mount itself looks great and there are no issues with the magnet. But I need it to attach it to the dashboard. I only have one flat surface and I read the instructions twice to make sure I did everything right. I've tried both mounts and the stickers are a piece of junk. I want a refund

Ideal for a large phone in a truck that mounts directly to the dash, but you'll need to add 3M double-sided adhesive pads for extra strength. Heat prevents the supplied adhesive tape from sticking or peeling off. Purchased gorilla tape and it works like a charm.

I have a 2011 Subaru Outback. It has hard plastic surfaces that have some texture but are about the same as any car. They just didn't want to stick to the interior of my car. I followed directions to the letter, used the cleaning pads and primer, and made sure the 3M pads were worn for at least 24 hours before stressing, and this in very mild temperatures here in the south. The grooves that allow it to wrap around a slightly curved dashboard tend to rise if it's not on a perfectly flat surface. It didn't stop even after applying it to a flat surface if it got too hot in the car. Or at least I suspect that's why it came loose after moving it onto a flat surface after realizing that the slightly curved portion of the dashboard wasn't appropriate for its position.
