Small Field of View

I received the Magnifier Wesley 40X 25mm on 03/12/19 EST. I returned it on 3/13/19 EST. Here's why: One of my hobbies is coin collecting. Wesley 40X - 25mm did not live up to expectations. I have 5X Lumiloupe - cool tool - and LED LOUPE TRIPLET - 21mm Dual White & UV. I compared Wesley to my LED LUPEN TRIPLET. Wesley didn't seem more than ten times taller to me. Useful tool for indoor plants and gardening!

This light is useful for many types of plants. I used a manual 10x lens to find pests on my houseplants which was helpful but much better! The higher the magnification the better, and the light makes it a lot easier to see what you're seeing. In a way it's too good! I've found spider mites on orchids that I thought were healthy, which was a little annoying, but it's better to catch them early. It is also useful for diagnosing pests on all types of garden plants. This metal jewelry loupe is solidly built, packed in a nice carrying case, with added neck strap, easy-to-read instructions and lens cleaning cloth. I particularly like the bright white LEDs I use to check the cutting edges of the tools I'm sharpening. The enlarged image is clear enough for my purposes.
