Was very disappointed with it. The reviews were so good and several mentioned that 8 year old girls loved it. My 8 year old doesn't. The colors are very nice but they don't show on the skin. I couldn't transfer it to brushes. I had to scrape off the blush and shadow with my fingernail and apply it with a sponge to get a color. This would be a great set for a 3 year old. Best of all is the makeup bag. It's very beautiful and durable.

Nowhere on this box was it labeled non-toxic as stated on the product before I bought it. I thought I buy non-toxic cosmetics by description. All the ingredients are listed on the back of the pack, with talc being the first ingredient on some items. Read what Google says about Talk. It's not safe in my opinion. A big disappointment, I would never give such a gift to a child. Revain should change the description and remove the mention of non-toxicity. It was made in China.

All the stuff and the bag was cute and the price is good but the makeup is not great you don't even realize you're wearing it . I understand this is childish makeup, so it shouldn't be heavy or messy, but you still want to see SOMETHING. Okay so I was annoyed at first that we got the wrong item (we got the unicorn version but ordered the mermaid version). My 6 year old didn't want to wait another week for the correct item to arrive (she spent her money on it) so she agreed to keep the unicorn makeup.
