Several other reviewers noted that their product came in broken packaging. It's the same with my order. Packaging would be great, but the plastic case is too brittle. Mine had broken along the length of the base along with the hinges. This is very bad as the product comes in a nice case. In the long run this will certainly not be a problem since I use parts. The product itself is great. A range of jigs allow you to experiment with 8020 profiles and work on small layouts for larger projects.

The set came in poor condition, the parts box was dented, cracked and has holes. The parts are in separate packages so this is mainly a cosmetic issue. The kit should contain two tools, a hex wrench and a screwdriver. In this case I have 2 hex keys and no wrench. This makes assembly difficult as most bolts/nuts require an Allen key. Not the end of the world, but not on the list either. Probably just an accident, but annoying nonetheless. Makeerbeam sent 2 hex socket wrenches, thanks.

I love this product a lot. I do a lot of 3D printing, but sometimes plastic parts just don't provide the rigidity needed for a project. This set has everything you need to put something together really quickly. And I especially like that the Makeerbeam XL is designed to work with standard M3 nuts, so you don't have to worry about buying (relatively) expensive nuts if you absolutely don't need them. Unfortunately the suitcase I received was broken. in a few places. It still sticks together, but…
