Just what I needed

This box was purchased to house a well working pond water pump. Electric on one side and air on the other. Drilled shielded entry holes in floor. It now sits outside in the weather and aerates my pond. The other box is used for the pond electrics. Good quality and just as advertised.

Good product and good value.

Beautifully made. Good internal mounting plate for installing components. I wasn't overly impressed with the thin stamped stainless steel mounting lugs, so I used my own mounts. The included cable holders were a nice plus. I can only recommend it because of its economy and good workmanship.

So far so good for electric boxes

I installed this on the tongue of my camper trailer next to the battery for some battery control electronics. It rained a few times before it started pouring. My biggest concern is the weak latches and hinges. I'm also a bit concerned about the mounting points as they don't seem sturdy, but so far it's clocked up around 1000 miles.

Loved the design and overall construction

Very happy with the design and overall construction. Better built than other boxes I've used. I particularly liked the cantilevered clasps and the perforated plastic board inside. Another box I bought for the same price didn't have a circuit board and had to buy it separately. I would definitely order this box again.

No screws for the included mounting brackets

For the price you could add the screws needed to attach the included mounting brackets to the box itself. There are no instructions, I think I'll just take the screws of the right length and caliber so as not to compromise the waterproofing. Annoyed that I bought the project for my project was hoping for more plug and play for this part.

Fixes design flaws in fence charger

All manufacturers of 120 volt electric fence chargers are not weatherproof, although their solar panels and batteries are. Find out. So this practical box will help you quickly. The two included cable glands are just perfect for 120 volt supply, fence voltage and grounding. II also used a vertical T-bracket, steel base plate and rivets to complete the assembly.

This is NOT WEATHER/WATER RESISTANT!

Everything seemed fine, the o-ring seemed to do the trick. Closed, gone up, in the rain. After that there was water. The o-ring just doesn't seem capable of holding water. Therefore it is NOT PERMITTED! NOT RECOMMENDED. UPDATE; 06/03/21. When my return window on 30.4. closed, I decided to see if I could get this stupid box to refuse water. OK, so I succeeded!
