These amplifier boards are a bargain. They're quite small, but they have quite a powerful sound effect. Make sure you give it enough power and enjoy.

One of the two is half what you paid for

Ready to use 1 device didn't work for the first couple of weeks, other device sounded very good The sound quality has dropped a lot in the last week or so

Fantastic basic stereo amplifier

Great product. The main chip, TPA3116D2, is common in small DIY audio amplifiers. This package was very cheap at around $15 for a pair. Works as advertised with clear sound and nice green power LED. Highly recommended.

Great features but poor performance

After a few hours of use this little amp blew up. My guess is that it failed due to heat build-up because the heatsink got hot very quickly even with the amp still running. While it worked, it delivered good sound, but with less power output than the specs said.

one is good; One bad good for home audio

Of the two, one is very good, works well etc. The other has an RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) problem. When I turn it on, it interferes with my FM radio (ham radio Β±146MHz). For that price I could order again and just replace, but as you know not all amps have the same quality control. you and your happiness Again for $15. You get what you pay for.

Dynamite definitely comes in small packages best amp ever

I advise anyone looking for an amp or two this item is a 100% buy. I was skeptical but when I bought this amp I was really amazed at its performance for such a small package. I advise anyone buying this please buy a 24v 8 amp power supply or power supply if you want to use the full potential of this amp if you are looking for a small but powerful amp. This is your choice

Everything you would expect from this TI chip.

Yes, I know many enthusiasts are divided between what ST Microelectronics and Texas Instruments offer. To me, the TPA3116D2 is slightly warmer and less punchy than the TDA7492, albeit with significantly less dynamic range and performance. High power speakers and/or quiet listening will benefit from the inherent warmth of this chip. It's a good deal: two domestic chipamps for almost the low price you would pay if you waited weeks for delivery from China.

Clear and clear sound.

I love this little amp. It's so clean and absolutely no hiss or any background noise whatsoever. No clicking when turning on and off. I tried them on some 320w 3ohm Infinity 6x9 speakers to test them out. This thing rocked without distortion. I am going to add a toneboard to my boombox with this amp. What I liked was that I didn't have to step up the voltage on this amp. I just tested it with a small 12 volt 5.6 amp hour battery and it worked. I will add that I listened to it at full volume for

Small heatsink 7.8 watts per channel. with heatsink and no fan

Update: RMS tests were run on two of these amplifiers and both showed well under 50 watts per channel. The best I've been able to get is 8W RMS with a fanless heatsink and 16W RMS per channel with a high airflow fan. The amp works, but due to the small size and location of the heatsink, you can't replace it with something bigger. Tested with this amplifier at 24 VDC. more watts per channel and the amp will go into thermal shutdown mode. With a good fan, we managed to get 16 watts per channel…

Sounds great, easy to connect.

The hardest part was finding a 12-24VDC power supply. Power for testing indoors, not in the car. I found a 12VDC adapter and connected it in parallel to my audio source. No problems other than determining the polarity of the adapter. This _said_ center is positive, but I don't fall for it. I put in a counter that told me yes the center is positive. Connecting the power cords, source, and speakers took less time than locating a working power source. All is well. I didn't test it at high volume…
