Makins USA Texture Connectors Abstracts Review

Comes off quite easily, although I forgot to use any release agent. This made my first attempt at mica displacement quite successful!

These textured sheets from Makin are just great. I like the variety and you can add it to the clay with a pasta machine.

I'm afraid they might be too brittle but I spray them with water, place a sheet of polymer clay on top, turn them over and use a spoon to shape the clay into a pattern. The sheets are so different - I love the versatility.

Makin texture sheets are considered cheap by many. I find them excellent, especially for making carriers for my jewellery. The fact that they go through the paste machine makes for a very sharp and clear print on polymer clay, and you can also use both "in" and "out" of the sheet. Excellent goods.

I have to admit that when I first opened the box I wasn't very impressed. But then I started using them. They made great impressions in clay. that I can run them through a pasta machine at the thickest setting. I carefully separated the sound from the record and was amazed at how well it came out. This actually gives you 8 designs, 4 positive and 4 negative. I ordered 3 more sets from another website.
