Description of ⚙️ Makita B 60872 SDS Plus 2 Cutter Bit
Self-centering Carbide tip. Centering tip features a more aggressive design for faster hole starting. Central guiding action engineered for more accurate holes. Aggressive head geometry in primary cutter engineered for use in concrete. Engineered for reduced vibration.
This Industrial and Scientific drill bit failed to impress. While the design is decent, it struggles with harder materials and wears out quickly. The only positive is its initial sharpness. Unfortunately, it's not worth the investment as there are better options available.
Pros
Efficient two-cutter design for faster drilling
Cons
Pricier compared to other SDS Plus bits on the market
I work as a contractor in South Florida and use an SDS hammer drill almost every day. These bits break about twice as fast as the ones I get off the shelf at Home Depot. Garbage!
Low effort drills are worth every penny 10 and I'm pretty sure it's my fault because I was on the stairs and used a drill to holding the drill in and out of the hole on the stairs and damaging the drill. I think I could easily have drilled more holes if not damaged, but even if they only make 25 holes it's still pretty darn good, I'd happily buy more if needed for future projects.
