I think this grinder is great for several reasons: 1. IT HAS A PLASTIC BODY! I don't know why tool makers use a tool bag instead of a plastic case, but I really like my power tools in plastic cases, it just adds a layer of protection that the tool bag doesn't have.2. The sandpaper clamps on the sander are excellent. My last sander (I think it was a Bosch) had very weak sandpaper clamps and the sandpaper kept falling back. Not so with this mill. The clips can be a little fiddly when first usingโฆ
What cheap junk! When I first got this it worked as rough as the plungers, but since this was my first rodeo in the world of palm grinders I just thought maybe that's how they run. All I sanded was drywall dirt, but I found it just okay. After running the mill for a relatively short time, the head came off completely (pardon my terminology if it's a bit off) - I think the bearings were bad. I called Makita and told them it was still under warranty and that I had purchased an extended warrantyโฆ
