Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice from the Industrial and Scientific field, I decided to purchase this grinder for my industrial workshop. Unfortunately, this product was a huge disappointment. The grinder did not work consistently and shuttered during usage- wasting time, materials, and patience. Overall, a total letdown.
Great tool. It's very powerful and the variable speed setting is a great feature. I can't say anything bad about it. It is great. If you're wondering what the difference is between this model and the GD0800C, take a look at my picture of the power button. The GD0800C has a slide switch and that's the only difference I'm aware of.
Most of the reviews for this grinder are from amateurs who are likely to compare it to a Dremel tool and love its functionality. Like the man who held the mill for hundreds of hours. Here are the pros and cons. Pros: Good performance, fairly quiet and smooth variable speed operation. Cons: Pretty bulky, doesn't fit in tight spaces.
