I love it; Cutting 0

I love it; Cutting .032" aluminum with them is like cutting thin cardboard with ordinary scissors. The cost is high, but it's worth it.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Some trouble

Reliable scissors also for sheet metal!

I'm a sheet metal worker and have been using Midwest for many years. A colleague had one of these Malco scissors, I tried them out and immediately wanted one. These are the best cuts I've used in a long time!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Not sure

Great so far. on Nippers & Snips

They seem to be working great now, like new. See, once a year or so I use them almost every day in HVAC. A lot of the guys I work with blow their minds because they've never seen Malco cutouts, but oh well. Also, they're a little, and I mean a little wider and taller than, say, the Midwest or Wisse.

Pros
  • delivery was very quick
Cons
  • little things

The best scissors on the market!

These shears are great for all types of sheet metal. Since we are cleaning air ducts, we need good scissors that will last a long time. I personally have had a pair since 2004 and they are still as sharp as the day I got them. We have tried all other brands like Wiss and Midwest but none of them compare to the Malco brand!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Little the best!

I have used almost every type of scissors on the market (Wiss, Midwest, el Cheapos etc) and Malco is still my favorite. They have a good finish and stay sharp unless you use them beyond their capabilities (or try to cut concrete or whatever is dumb). Get matching red links and you're all set for anything you need to cut sheet metal!

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Malco makes some of the best sheet metal tools.

Malco make the finest sheet metal tools and they are no exception. I'm an HVAC tradesman who has used every type of scissors on the market and none of them have lasted. The clasp is easily accessible from the normal hand position in which you use scissors. They also last longer than any other pair of scissors and stay sharp. Why spend a few euros less for a comparatively mediocre piece? HM?

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly Torn
