I used this on my kitchen appliances and bathroom fixtures, didn't do anything. Not the anniversary I remember decades ago. The composition had to be changed. I'll try this on my furniture, but don't get your hopes up too high.

Cleans worktops well and leaves a light shine. I used it on a small area of my 14 year old car with white paint to see if the greyish film would come off and it worked fine but a regular car polish/cleaner would work better. Otherwise I would rate a 9 as a household cleaner. Holds up well and washes well.

I remember my mother used this product many years ago and the cabinets had a great shine. That being said, I'm not saying it won't work on your cabinets, it could be the type of wood mine has. I live in an apartment and have the standard cabinets you can get at any big hardware store, so he probably didn't do anything. But it didn't add any shine to my countertop.
