Great Smooth Stones

These molds will give you perfectly smooth stones. Molds are easy to pop out of the mold and are the size you want.

Works great!: Sculpting Supplies

This was my first time using a silicone mold and I was blown away! It made perfect rocks to paint on which were much easier to paint than ordinary rocks because the shape makes them so smooth.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Hard to say

too thin: force

"rocks" come out with flat tops because the shape is too thin and becomes flat when concrete is poured in. The round stones are oddly shaped and look more like doorknobs than stones.

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Almost never

Painted Stone Lovers Dream Mold

We LOVE these molds for our own sculpted stones that we can paint and share with strangers. Our favorite rocks to draw with these shapes are soccer balls and baseballs. Excellent for parking near stadiums.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

No shape support like Happy Dotting.

My only complaint is the lack of support as part of the mold. To get a rounded surface I had to find something to paste it in to fill and shape it. Also, I think they came by boat from China. I'm not used to waiting that long for orders.

Pros
  • Sculpture Accessories
Cons
  • Disappear

Nice shape but very brittle

I use it to make rock art stones with Ultra cal 30. The first stones came out very flat at the bottom and when I went to the forum they suggested hanging them on a trellis. I did exactly that, the second batch got better. Just a little disappointed that I had to do something to get them working.

Pros
  • Power
Cons
  • Expensive

Perfect for stone artists

I enjoyed using them to make our Suicide Awareness Stones (#WROCKS & WROCKS on Facebook) and although the process got a bit messy the result was fantastic. My DIL and I started the rock art collection 2 weeks before and we had loads of rocks to paint for everyone. The kit did a great job creating over 60 concrete blocks and once cleaned it will be ready to go again next spring.

Pros
  • Casting and Pouring
Cons
  • Damaged
