Perfect tripod companion

It's great. Helps keep the camera off the ground that you need instant access to, and if it's a bit windy it also helps stabilize the camera tripod.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Compatibility

Must have for your tripod.

This is a well made large apron. It holds a significant amount of gear or can be used to add extra weight to stabilize the tripod. A must-have item for photographers who shoot outdoors with a tripod.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Weight

Helpful but expensive.

Works well but overpriced given the tripod and camera/lenses/filters above it. I think a home made version of this would work better to weight the tripod for stability in windy conditions.

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Clarity

Talk about strong. fits complete tripods

The material is dense and keeps its shape. Think of everything it can hold, you don't want it to be flimsy. Not with this thing. The straps that attach it to the tripod are also solid. Huge bang for your buck.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

Manfrotto "Tripod Butler "

Leather straps tie over the "ballast pocket" on the bottom third of the tripod section. The tripod folds together with the 496 head and both cases to fit in a 27" carry bag. It is best to "catch" lens caps etc. when the tripod is not folded down to ground level. The price is too high but worth it in terms of value for money.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
