The shoes looked great and fit well but after not trying them on before buying I was concerned about the instep of my foot slipping up and down when walking and they really are a a little . Enough that the backs of my legs were bleeding from the constant rubbing, staining the rough canvas material (top edge) inside that was rubbing against the skin. My husband absolutely loves these boats. A size 8 is perfect for his size 8 feet and he says they are as comfortable as his slippers. He is very impressed with the outstanding quality of these shoes and loves that you can adjust the fit if needed with a small cord that runs around the upper. We reviewed MANY shoes of this type and chose them because they have the perfect white sole size that won't scratch white boat decks and provides traction on wet surfaces. These are good boat shoes easy to slip on my large feet. A size 13 is surprisingly large, but these are loafers and I don't mind a relaxed fit. What I don't like is that unlike the Sperry, the leather strap that runs through the boot's shaft doesn't stretch, it's just for decoration. However, the nice white sole and "preppy" trendy look of these shorts make them more dressy, so they're good for yacht cruises or BBQs when you don't want to wear flip flops and board shorts.

REALLY poorly made Chinese crap! These are not "shoes" best described as slippers. The sole is so thin that you can feel the smallest objects under your foot. ABSOLUTELY NO SUPPORT, I have thicker soft socks than these. I mentioned slippers disguised as shoes. Walk two blocks on slick sidewalk and your feet will hurt. If you just want to put something on and go to the porch or the mailbox, that might work, but don't think it's shoes. BAD COST, real waste of money, buy $10 slippers, don't fall…

This is my third pair of Margaritaville shoes. I like all three pairs I've had. This particular pair fits your normal size when worn with socks. Therefore, if you wear this pair with socks that are half a size larger, I recommend; if you will wear them "no socks" than your usual size. I wear 91/2 so I feel comfortable wearing these shoes without socks. They are very comfortable and ideal for everyday wear. I wear them almost every day when it's warm and I want my feet to stay cool.

Little did I know that these "Margaritaville Men's Dock Slip-On Boat Shoes" are NOT the same design as the previous Margaritaville Men's Dock Slip-On Boat Shoes that Revain sold last year (2019). ). This year's version is essentially flat sole and heel and for me this design is very heavy on the feet. I'd love to see Revain bring back the original men's Margaritaville Dock Slip On boat shoe. While this new style seems sensible and has a nice design, of course they're back to Revain.
