This socket is of good quality. The LED is slightly overloaded. I actually took it apart and cut one of the wires to the LED. Not an easy decision if you don't have basic technical skills. I would buy it again and disable the LED before installing.

If you are installing this in an RV do not install near your bed, the blue LEDs on the aux sockets are very bright. Light will still come through even when plugged in

Waterproof with end cap installed. I really liked mine, but it started raining and I lost the USB port function. Maybe get another one and move to another area. Good product just keep away from direct contact with the weather.

I installed this thing in my boat cabin to charge my phone and power my CPAP while I spent nights on it. Too much blue light. I need surgery to turn it off. Even the Blue Sea has a lighted switch. I think everyone assumes that you need a power indicator. If I installed it on a boat's dashboard, the damn thing would destroy my night vision. Maybe I'll give my rating 3 stars instead of 4. The light is poorly constructed.

This USB/12 volt outlet from Marinco looks really well made. I give it 1 star as it doesn't charge my iPad quickly, but that's just a minor issue.
