However, this requires the use of a built-in timer, and any power outage, no matter how brief, will require the timer to be reprogrammed. Don't waste your money, he will die in a few months. I liked it at first because it was so thin and looked so sharp and low on my tank, but when one of the white LED strips stopped working after five months I got frustrated.
